Saguaro Lake is the closest man-made lake to Fountain Hills. It is surrounded by towering cliffs and offers a full-service marina with water skiing, fishing and swimming areas. A favorite pastime on a hot summer day is an inner tube ride down the Verde or Salt River, just southeast of Fountain Hills. Fort McDowell Adventures offer the experience of the Old West with cattle drives, overnight horseback rides and private rodeo shows.
